Every strand is pushed out of skin. Which is why a hair routine that only ever touches the lengths is working on the part of the story that has already been written.
01
It behaves like the skin anywhere else — it can be dry, it can be oily, and it responds to what is put on it.
02
A pre-wash oil sits on the scalp and lengths for an hour or more, then comes off. It is a treatment, not a leave-in.
03
Whatever removes the oil is also what is left in contact with the scalp. A shampoo made for the job finishes it properly.

From root
to tip.
A single strand leaves the scalp and then has to survive everything after — washing, sun, heat, friction. The oil is for the part you cannot see. The shampoo is for everything that lands on it afterwards.

An oil massaged into the scalp is working on the skin the hair grows out of. A shampoo built to remove that oil is working on the same surface a few hours later. That is the whole routine — two products, one place.
Scalp surface
Where the oil is massaged in, and where the shampoo does its work a few hours later.
The follicle
The structure in the skin each hair grows from. A scalp routine is care for its surroundings.
The strand
Everything above the surface. Already formed — so this is about condition, not construction.
A general description of hair and scalp, not a claim about what these products treat.

A herbal hair oil on a coconut oil base, blended with the Ayurvedic herbs listed on the pack — amla, bhringraj, brahmi, jatamansi and eighteen more. Massaged into the scalp and left to soak.

Most shampoos are not designed to follow an oil treatment. This one is — pH balanced, without sulfates, and made to lift the oil cleanly instead of stripping everything with it.

22 herbs, named.
Not “a blend of Ayurvedic botanicals”. Every one is printed on the pack, and every one is listed here.

Amla
आंवला
Emblica officinalis

Bhringraj
भृंगराज
Eclipta alba

Hibiscus
हिबिस्कस
Hibiscus rosa-sinensis

Neem
नीम
Azadirachta indica

The two products are made to be used together, in this order.

Work the Ayurvedic Hair Oil into the scalp with your fingertips for 5–10 minutes.

02
Leave the oil in for at least 1–2 hours, or overnight if that suits your routine.

03
Rinse with the Ayurvedic Hair Shampoo — pH balanced and made to follow an oil treatment.
